A lively rock garden
This hair salon wanted to create a more colorful and welcoming entryway for clients. Before planting, the boulder retention wall was a drab heat island raising the temperature around the building.
Drought resistant native species were planted between the rocks, adding striking oranges, purples, and pinks for clients to admire. Marigolds and mums were used to stand in for butterfly milkweed and asters bloom 2025. The temperature is cooler and habitat for pollinators was created. Species planted/ seeded:
